New on board: Premium BIZ Seats on our medium-haul routes

Comfort you’d expect only on wide-body jets: Starting this fall, we’re introducing a new level of comfort on longer medium-haul routes with our Premium BIZ Seat aboard the Airbus A320neo.

What sets it apart?
Instead of the industry-standard seating with 2x3 economy seats per row, you'll enjoy an exclusive 2x2 configuration featuring premium business-class seats crafted by renowned Italian manufacturer Geven. These seats offer more space, adjustable backrests, ergonomic design, and generous upholstery — giving you more comfort, privacy and an even more relaxing travel experience.

Premiere on the Berlin–Dubai route
We are the first airline in Germany to offer this new seating comfort in a smaller, so-called "narrowbody" aircraft like the A320neo. The new seat launches on our non-stop Berlin-Dubai route in November 2025. Starting in August 2025, you can book the Premium BIZ Seat exclusively via eurowings.com – as a new premium option within our well-known Eurowings BIZclass .

This allows you to choose from several comfort levels on the Berlin–Dubai route:

• Premium BIZ Seat: 8 seats per flight, our premium option for even more comfort
• BIZclass: With free middle seat and more legroom
• SMART & BASIC: Our economy fares – with bookable extras and services

The market launch begins with the 2025/26 winter flight schedule , which will also provide important insights for other airlines within the Lufthansa Group for future configurations of new aircraft fleets. At the same time, Eurowings is preparing for the largest fleet renewal in its history: Starting in 2027 , 40 brand-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft with an extra range of 6,500 km will arrive. Until then, we will be redesigning cabin comfort and design from the ground up.

The new Premium BIZ Seat is the first visible milestone in our product and service initiative . And best of all: You can also look forward to exciting innovations beyond our BIZclass – for an even more comfortable travel experience on all short- and medium-haul flights.
