For the people who make a difference: Name a Eurowings aircraft after someone special

Sometimes, it’s the people in our lives who make everyday life a little easier. They’re there when it matters, support us, motivate us and listen when we need them. With “Name a Plane”, we want to say a special thank you to these people – and put their names on our aircraft.

We’re looking for people who make a difference through their kindness, support and appreciation of others – within their family, among friends, in a club or community group, through volunteering or simply in everyday life.

From 21 September to 11 October 2026, you can nominate someone special and share their personal story with us at eurowings.com/nameaplane. It’s not about public recognition or grand gestures. What matters is what someone does for others and how their actions make life that little bit easier.

Four names ready for take-off

Once the nomination period has ended, we’ll take a look at the stories we’ve received. We’re looking for people who embody the spirit of the campaign through the difference they make to others. A jury will then select four people.

In December, we’ll introduce the first four winners and share their stories. Their first names will have a very special place: they’ll be prominently displayed on four Eurowings Airbus A320 aircraft. That way, a personal thank you becomes a visible sign of appreciation that lasts far beyond the moment – and a special name will be ready for take-off.
