More destinations in winter: Eurowings expands direct connections

With new direct connections, Eurowings offers even more opportunities to discover Europe in its 2026/27 winter flight schedule. New routes include Berlin to Bologna and Prague to Rovaniemi. Connections from Düsseldorf to Milan Linate and Tallinn will also be offered for the first time this winter.

New: From Berlin to Bologna

Starting November 2nd, 2026, there will be three weekly flights from Berlin to Bologna. The Italian city combines historic arcades and medieval architecture with a diverse culinary scene, making Bologna an ideal destination for a varied winter city break.

From Düsseldorf in winter to Milan Linate and Tallinn

Connections from Düsseldorf to Milan Linate and Tallinn will also be offered for the first time in the winter flight schedule. Milan Linate will be served up to twice daily. Together with flights to Milan Malpensa, this gives travelers from North Rhine-Westphalia up to five daily connections to the Italian metropolis. Thanks to Linate Airport's central location, Milan's city center is particularly easy to reach.

Tallinn is served by flights from Düsseldorf twice a week. With its historic old town, the Estonian capital offers travelers an attractive destination for their next city break.

From Prague directly to wintry Lapland

From December 20, 2026, Eurowings will connect Prague with Rovaniemi every Sunday. This makes the Finnish city the fourth Eurowings departure airport to Lapland – alongside Düsseldorf, Berlin and Hamburg.

Rovaniemi is the “official” home of Santa Claus and is known for its snowy landscapes and the opportunity to experience the Northern Lights.
