L’Osteria and Eurowings serve up pasta delights high above the clouds
L’Osteria and Eurowings have joined forces to take the culinary travel experience to a new level – literally, because from 1 November 2025, Germany's largest holiday airline will be serving L’Osteria's classic “maccheroncini colorati” exclusively at an altitude of several thousand meters. To this end, the recipe for the popular pasta creation has been optimized for flight operations by experts from both brands – without compromising on taste or quality, of course. The maccheroncini come directly from L'Osteria's own pasta factory.
The “maccheroncini colorati” stand out with a combination of fruity tomato sauce and crisp bell pepper, along with fried zucchini and eggplant, perfectly seasoned with mild onions and Italian herbs. The pasta creation will be available as of 1 November 2025 for at least six months, at a price of €8.90 in the Eurowings Wings Bistro. Passengers who purchase the pasta dish will also receive a coffee voucher that they can redeem in one of the L'Osteria restaurants.
