ITB 2026 is just around the corner and we’re looking forward to three inspiring days in Berlin.

Flex Premium now available as an ancillary in the company portal

Flex Premium can now also be booked as an ancillary in the Eurowings corporate portal. This expands our offering with an additional booking channel – ideal for anyone who wants to make their business trip even more flexible.

What is Flex Premium?

Flex Premium can be added during the initial booking and offers highly flexible options for rebooking and cancellation:

✈️ Rebooking

Flights with Flex Premium can be rebooked free of charge up to the closure of online check-in – that is, up to 40 minutes before departure – to another available travel date (plus any fare difference), provided the route and passenger remain unchanged.

❌ Cancellation

Cancellations are possible until check-in closes – online, via mobile, by phone through our Call Centre, or in person at the airport counter.

It is also possible to cancel on the day of departure – provided contact is made with the Eurowings Call Centre on the same day. In this case, cancellation is possible for a fee.

Important: Rebooking or cancellation is no longer possible after the scheduled departure date has passed.

How can Flex Premium be booked?

Flex Premium can now be added as an ancillary regardless of the selected fare (BASIC, SMART, or BIZclass) via eurowings.com, the Eurowings company and travel agency portal, and the technical WINGS API (provided the Direct Connect partner supports ANC). Currently, booking is not available via the SOAP API (Direct Connect) or GDS.

With the launch of Flex Premium (FXPR) as an ancillary (ANC), we are expanding our offering for personalised travel planning across all fare types. This additional product provides particularly generous rebooking and cancellation conditions – ideal for those who wish to remain flexible, starting from just €90.

What is Flex Premium?

With our new cuddly toy boarding pass the next flight will be a very special experience for little passengers and their favorite companions. Whether it's a teddy bear, a bunny, or a dinosaur, every stuffed animal now gets its own boarding pass. Children can fill out the card together with their parents – including the name of the stuffed animal, the destination, and even the "flight experience level" of their furry friend. Brave first-time flyers or experienced co-pilots? Anything is possible.

Eurowings and SunExpress to become interline partners

Eurowings and SunExpress are intensifying their cooperation and have agreed an interline agreement for selected routes. Travellers from Europe to Turkey and vice versa will benefit from extended flight options. Tickets can be booked via OTA as well as via GDS in stationary travel agencies.

As part of the collaboration, we are currently working on a codeshare agreement that will bring further benefits to their joint customers and will go live in the course of the summer.

Change in payment deadline for B2C private direct debits

From 1 July 2024, we will extend the payment period by direct debit from 5 to 14 days before departure. This change affects all B2C private direct debit procedures. The B2B company direct debit procedure (SA) remains unchanged.

Ready for summer 2025

The 2025 summer flight schedule will go live on Monday, 17 June 2024. This means that all Eurowings flights with departure dates up to 25 October 2025 can be booked.

This guide is the result of our commitment to more transparent and efficient communication and to the customer and business partner satisfaction.
