More space, more privacy, and a more relaxed travel experience from start to finish: from the 2026/27 winter flight schedule, Eurowings will introduce the new Premium BIZ Seat on selected routes to Mallorca, Málaga, London and Dubai.

Ticket sales begin on 19 August 2026. From 1 December 2026, guests can enjoy this new premium experience above the clouds.

More comfort on popular routes

The Premium BIZ Seat will be available on routes where demand for added comfort and greater privacy is particularly high:

• Mallorca (PMI): The comfort offensive now extends to Germans' favourite island – with daily flights from Dusseldorf and up to four times a week from Berlin.
• Málaga (AGP): Four weekly flights from Dusseldorf to Málaga complete the new comfort offering.
• London Heathrow (LHR): Up to 28 weekly flights from Dusseldorf – including at least one daily service – as well as all weekly flights from Berlin are fully integrated into the new premium standard.
• Dubai (DXB): The Premium BIZ Seat is available on all Eurowings flights to Dubai – daily from Berlin, four times a week from Stuttgart and three times a week from Cologne/Bonn.

More destinations from Berlin Brandenburg
The expansion of our Berlin base continues: in the upcoming winter flight schedule, Eurowings will fly from Berlin to Porto and Bilbao twice a week. Lisbon and Sarajevo will also be added in December. Eurowings is therefore continuing these popular summer routes into the winter season.

Eurowings will also connect Cologne/Bonn (CGN) with Tbilisi in Georgia in December and January.

All routes are available to book now via all booking channels.

More Turkey in the Eurowings network
The codeshare partnership with SunExpress is growing too: selected SunExpress flights to Antalya can now also be booked under a Eurowings flight number.

A key part of this strategy is the expansion of our flight programme. From the 2026/27 winter schedule onwards, Eurowings will significantly increase frequencies to and from the island. For the first time, six aircraft will be based in Palma – twice as many as just two years ago. This means more connections and greater flexibility for travellers, even outside the traditional peak season.

Mallorca has long since become much more than a summer holiday destination. Outside the peak season in particular, the island is increasingly attracting visitors with its mild climate, diverse outdoor activities and relaxed atmosphere. These qualities are making Mallorca an ever more appealing destination for leisure travel, active holidays and business trips throughout the year.

The latest plans build on a strong track record of growth. Since opening its Palma base in 2017, Eurowings has continuously expanded its operations on the island. Today, around 1,000 employees work for the airline locally. During the summer season, Eurowings connects Mallorca with 26 airports and operates around 400 flights per week, primarily to and from Germany and Austria.

Eurowings’ commitment to Mallorca extends beyond flight operations. Through Wings Handling, the airline has already invested in local structures and gained valuable experience in developing long-term business activities on the island. This creates opportunities for both partners: while the Balearic Government continues to promote Mallorca as an attractive year-round tourism and business destination, Eurowings supports this ambition through its strong local presence and targeted investments.

New to the schedule: Bologna. The Italian university city combines historic alleyways, vibrant food spots and true dolce vita and from next winter, it will be reachable nonstop from BER for the very first time. The new connection to the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region complements the growing Italy portfolio, which already includes destinations such as Rome, Naples and Olbia, while further strengthening Berlin’s direct links to attractive European cities.

And for anyone looking to swap cold winter days for a bit more sunshine, there’s more good news: additional flights to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife will offer even greater flexibility when planning a getaway. The new Bologna route will be available from €49.99 in the BASIC fare. Flights to Bologna as well as the additional Canary Islands services can be booked now.

Berlin’s flight offering within the Lufthansa Group is also continuing to grow: together with Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and SunExpress, the Group now accounts for around 30 per cent of all connections at BER. The growth is especially visible at Eurowings itself: after starting with just three aircraft stationed in Berlin following the pandemic, eleven aircraft will soon connect the German capital with around 50 destinations.

Eurowings is bringing fresh flavours on board: Since May, a selection of new products has expanded the WINGS Bistro range, offering even more relaxed and enjoyable moments above the clouds.

The new products have been specially selected or developed for use at cruising altitude. After all, taste perception changes on board, which is why seasoning, flavours and recipes have been carefully adapted to the conditions in the aircraft– ensuring the products unfold their full flavour even in the air.

A modern classic is also joining the WINGS Bistro menu: the Currywurst by Tim Raue. It features a sausage from the traditional Dönninghaus butchery in Bochum, served with a fruity tomato sauce and a spicy curry onion sauce. Also new on board is the “Döner Style” flatbread with chicken kebab meat – bringing street food to cruising altitude.

The drinks selection has also been expanded further: Aperol Spritz, alongside other new additions, offers even more choice on board.

This allows travellers to check in their luggage the day before, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and go straight to the gate on the day of departure. At Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Hamburg airports, using the baggage drop machines is free of charge. Alternatively, baggage can be dropped off at the check-in counter for ten euros per person. 

At Hanover and Stuttgart airports, this service is available at the counter for five euros per person. For BIZclass passengers, HON Circle members (including their companions), and Senators, the late-night baggage drop-off at the counter is free of charge.

The move brings a major advantage: for the first time, all Lufthansa Group airlines in Munich will be housed under one roof. For travelers, this means significantly shorter walking distances, more efficient transfer processes, and a harmonized service and terminal experience. Transfer passengers will benefit, as terminal changes will no longer be required, and orientation at the airport will become noticeably easier.

Instead of a uniform 2×3 seating configuration, Eurowings is introducing a more spacious 2×2 layout in the first two rows, featuring eight comfortable premium seats – an innovation in the German market. What had previously been reserved for long-haul passengers on scheduled services on wide-body aircraft is now being introduced on smaller so-called “narrowbody” jets such as the Airbus A320neo. Eurowings primarily deploys the A320neo on longer medium-haul routes with flight times of roughly three to six hours.

A new cabin promise

Since its inaugural flight in November 2025 on the Berlin-Dubai route, followed by the test deployment of a second aircraft on additional routes, Eurowings has gathered extensive customer feedback on the Premium BIZ seat. The response has been overwhelmingly positive: travellers particularly appreciate the personal space, increased privacy, and the enhanced service concept.

Given strong demand and favorable customer reactions, Eurowings has now decided to roll out the Premium BIZ seat on more business and leisure routes in the near future. In addition to longer medium-haul flights, this is likely to include connections to business hubs such as London, as well as vacation destinations with high premium demand, such as Mallorca and the Canary Islands. The final network and fleet planning is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. What is already clear today is that all eight Eurowings A320neo aircraft will be equipped with premium seats as part of this expansion.

“We are boldly changing an industry standard because our guests’ expectations are changing as well,” says Max Kownatzki, CEO of Eurowings. “The success of our market tests made it clear within just a few months that many passengers on longer flights want a bit more space and affordable comfort. Eurowings has chosen the “Comoda” premium seats from the well-known Italian manufacturer Geven. The onboard product and service upgrade includes an adjustable footrest, USB charging ports, pillows, blankets, and an amenity kit, as well as a premium inflight service featuring an aperitif, a hot meal served on porcelain, and an expanded beverage selection.

The introduction is part of a comprehensive product and service initiative – and a visible sign of the airline’s strategic development. While many competitors focus primarily on maximizing seat density, the airline recognized by Skytrax as the “Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe” invests in affordable comfort, service quality, and differentiation.

Palma remains Berlin's favorite destination

Palma de Mallorca remains the undisputed number one in the route network. With up to 28 weekly flights, we bring over 150,000 passengers from BER to Europe's most popular holiday island every year.

In total, our Berlin-based leisure and business travellers have more than 2.3 million seats available – around 700,000 more than three years ago .

The OPC is based on the requirements of the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD II). Certain card payments such as corporate cards or cards issued outside the European Economic Area (EEA) incur higher processing fees. The OPC ensures these costs are attributed to the payment methods that generate them. Private cards issued within the EEA are not affected by the OPC.
For those wishing to avoid additional charges, direct debit will continue to be available as a free payment option.

During his tenure at SunExpress, Kownatzki guided the German-Turkish airline successfully through the covid crisis, doubled its fleet to over 85 aircraft, and subsequently led the airline on a strong growth trajectory with record financial results.

Kownatzki began his first day at Eurowings with a welcome event at the airline’s headquarters at Cologne/Bonn Airport, where he was officially welcomed by fellow managing directors Kai Duve and Edi Wolfensberger. He took the opportunity to meet numerous employees, catch up with old friends, and engage in direct exchange.

“What Eurowings has built over the past few years deserves the utmost respect,” Kownatzki said. “Today, Eurowings stands for impressive customer service and a strong value-for-money offer – all while achieving sustainable economic success. I very much look forward to shaping the next phase of Eurowings’ success story together with this great team.”

Eurowings is familiar territory for Kownatzki. In 2015, he co-founded Eurowings Europe and served as chief commercial officer. He later became senior vice president responsible for business development at Eurowings. He began his career in 2002 at strategy consulting firm Oliver Wyman, where he was a senior partner advising international airlines on alliances and commercial strategy until 2013. He then served as chief strategy officer at Jetstar, a subsidiary of Qantas Airways. In 2017, he joined Lufthansa Group, taking responsibility for network planning and strategic alliances for the group’s hub airlines, and became a member of the supervisory board of Air Dolomiti. He served as CEO of SunExpress from April 2020 until joining Eurowings.

Max Kownatzki is German-American and holds a doctoral degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen / Switzerland. He is a licensed commercial pilot and father of two children.

From 2026, the Lufthansa Group will equip all aircraft across the Group with high-speed internet access, both within the existing fleet and on all newly delivered aircraft. As a result, our guests will also benefit from significantly higher bandwidth and speed onboard, enabling streaming, cloud-based working and other high-speed applications during the flight. The fast internet service will be available not only on flights departing from the major Eurowings bases in Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Palma de Mallorca and Stuttgart, but also on all other routes.

The comprehensive upgrade will be carried out in partnership with Starlink, the leading provider offering the fastest inflight internet connectivity in the industry. Based on satellite technology, the system enables online experience in the air comparable to that on the ground. The gradual rollout of Starlink will begin in the second half of 2026. Further details will be announced later this year.

Following the successful introduction of the new Premium BIZ Seat on the Berlin-Dubai test route, we are now taking the next step: a second aircraft with the innovative 2×2 premium seating is now in service. Unlike the market test from Berlin, this Airbus A320neo will be used across the entire Eurowings route network – enabling BIZclass guests outside Berlin to experience the new seat for the first time.

The special highlight: for a transitional period, the Premium BIZ Seat will be offered at no extra charge outside the Berlin–Dubai route. The aircraft will serve as a technical reserve for the Berlin-Dubai market test. No fixed route assignment is planned for the second Airbus A320neo for the time being. Accordingly, the seat cannot be booked specifically, allowing guests on selected flights to benefit from the new premium product free of charge.

Eurowings guests from Germany are not the only ones who can look forward to a wide range of offers. Under the leadership of Jens Bischof, who took over at Eurowings in March 2020 in the midst of the global coronavirus crisis, the airline achieved a remarkable and sustainable turnaround. The previously loss-making company developed into one of the most successful airlines within the Lufthansa Group. This year, Eurowings was named “Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe” by the prestigious rating agency Skytrax.

Bischof and Kownatzki with impressive track record

Bischof's successor, Max Kownatzki, also has an impressive track record. The 53-year-old led the German-Turkish airline SunExpress – a joint venture between the Lufthansa Group and Turkish Airlines – out of the coronavirus crisis as CEO and steered the airline to record results. Last year, SunExpress increased its revenue by 23 percent to €2.2 billion and carried around 15 million passengers – more than ever before in the company's history.

“With Max Kownatzki, Eurowings is gaining a leader who combines strategic vision, operational excellence and a great passion for the world of flying. He understands the dynamics of the international airline business like few others – and he understands Eurowings,” Niggemann continued. “I am convinced that he will not only continue Eurowings' successful course, but also boldly develop it further. Eurowings is familiar territory for Max Kownatzki: he was co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Eurowings Europe flight operations back in 2015. He was later responsible for business development at Eurowings as Senior Vice President. He began his career in 2002 at the strategy consultancy Oliver Wyman, where he worked as a senior partner until 2013, advising international airlines with a focus on alliances and commercial issues. He then worked as Chief Strategy Officer for the Jetstar Group, a subsidiary of Qantas Airways, before taking over network planning and strategic alliances for the Lufthansa Group's hub airlines in 2017 and becoming a member of the Supervisory Board of Air Dolomiti. He has been CEO of SunExpress since April 2020.

Kownatzki studied business administration in St. Gallen, where he also obtained his doctorate, and holds a commercial pilot's license.

Faster check-in: Automatic document check now available online and in the app
Automated document verification – Automated Doc Check (ADC) – is now available for non-Schengen flights on the Eurowings website and in the app. Passengers can now simply enter their passport details themselves during online check-in and have them checked automatically. If everything is correct, no additional document check is required at the airport – saving time and making check-in much more convenient.

New in the Eurowings app: Push notification when the departure gate changes
The Eurowings app now provides customers with real-time information about changes to departure gates. The push notification appears at exactly the same moment as the displays in the terminal are updated. To receive these notifications, the Eurowings app must be installed and the push function activated. This means travelers are always up to date and can relax at the airport without having to keep an eye on the display boards.

Up to twelve weekly connections to London Heathrow
As part of the expansion of services at BER, the Eurowings fleet will grow by two to nine aircraft stationed there. With up to twelve weekly connections to London Heathrow Airport and up to three weekly flights to Portugal's capital Lisbon, our European network in Berlin continues to grow.

More European choice in summer
Holidaymakers and families in particular can look forward to a significantly expanded range of routes from BER. We are adding several new holiday destinations to our flight schedule: there will be two flights a week to Olbia in Sardinia and up to two flights a week to Naples and Sarajevo. Kavala in Greece will also be served up to twice a week during the high season. We are also increasing services on existing popular routes: Mallorca will receive six additional connections per week, Stockholm five, and Zurich and Split two each. In addition, we are increasing the frequency of flights to Bilbao, Faro, Gothenburg, Helsinki and Larnaca by one weekly connection each, significantly expanding the choice for summer travellers.

The OPC is based on the requirements of the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD II). Certain credit card payments such as corporate cards or cards issued outside the European Economic Area (EEA) incur higher processing fees. The OPC ensures these costs are attributed to the payment methods that generate them. When will the Optional Payment Charge be applied?

The OPC will apply to bookings with point of origin (POO) in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and the Czech Republic.

An OPC will be charged for payments made with business credit cards (e.g. corporate or company cards).

Credit cards outside the EEA:
An OPC will be charged for all credit card payments (personal and corporate).

What are the OPC fees?

• The OPC varies depending on the card brand and issuing country. The maximum amount depends on the currency and is: EUR 25 / GBP 20 / DKK 190 / PLN 20 / NOK 290 / CZK 680
• The OPC is only charged when payments are processed in accordance with the Lufthansa Group Merchant Agreement.
• It applies uniformly across all transport sectors and booking classes – both for the initial booking and for subsequent seat reservations or additional payments as part of rebookings.
• In the event of cancellations, the OPC is non-refundable. Individual OPC amounts are reviewed regularly in line with market conditions and adjusted where required.

With its new seating product, Eurowings is enhancing the travel experience on medium-haul routes and offering an attractive premium option for guests who value additional comfort, privacy and personalized service. The Premium BIZ seat complements the existing BIZclass (free middle seat, increased legroom) as well as the economy fares SMART (optional extra legroom) and BASIC.

At the heart of the new product is the “Comoda” seat developed by Italian manufacturer Geven, customized in Eurowings’ characteristic colors. It offers significantly more personal space, a reclining leg rest, USB charging ports, as well as a pillow, blanket, amenity kit and hot towel. An integrated cocktail table adds additional surface space, while a practical storage compartment provides room for headphones, books or tablets.

The inflight service has also been comprehensively upgraded: Upon boarding, the crew serves an aperitif with nuts or olives and sparkling wine. The subsequent main meal is served on porcelain – with a sweet or savory warm breakfast option including fruit salad and muesli on the outbound flight, and a vegetarian or non-vegetarian dinner option including salad and dessert on the inbound flight. Afterward, the full WINGS Bistro selection is available.

On the Airbus A320neo, the Premium BIZ zone replaces the standard 2×3 seating layout with a spacious 2×2 configuration, creating eight exclusive seats per aircraft. As a value airline, Eurowings is offering a unique and previously unmatched product within this aircraft category in Germany. The service is initially being deployed on the Berlin-Dubai route and can be booked from €399.99 per segment.

The Premium BIZ seat is part of a comprehensive product and service initiative at Eurowings. Insights gained from the introduction will also provide valuable input for the development of future cabin concepts within the Lufthansa Group.

Technical foundation for future growth
The project was developed over a period of almost two years in close cooperation with Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines, Lufthansa Systems, and Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar, and creates the technical basis for the future integration of additional partner airlines – both in the codeshare and non-codeshare sectors.

“With the expansion of our marketplace on eurowings.com, we are bundling all relevant flight options in a single booking channel for the first time – giving our customers more choice, flexibility, and significantly more convenient handling,” says Michael Erfert, Head of Sales & Distribution at Eurowings and Managing Director of Eurowings Digital. “At the same time, we are strengthening our market position in digital sales and laying the foundation for the continuous expansion of our platform offering.”

With this new feature, Eurowings is one of the few airlines worldwide to offer both “ticketless” and “ticketed” flights on a single booking platform. This means that Germany's largest leisure airline is not only enabling combined bookings of Eurowings and codeshare flights for the first time, but is also further expanding the competitiveness of its online platform.

The “maccheroncini colorati” stand out with a combination of fruity tomato sauce and crisp bell pepper, along with fried zucchini and eggplant, perfectly seasoned with mild onions and Italian herbs. The pasta creation will be available as of 1 November 2025 for at least six months, at a price of €8.90 in the Eurowings Wings Bistro. Passengers who purchase the pasta dish will also receive a coffee voucher that they can redeem in one of the L'Osteria restaurants.

EMAS and ISO 14001 are internationally recognized standards for environmental management systems. ISO 14001 specifies requirements for how companies can continuously improve their environmental performance, minimize risks and comply with legal requirements. EMAS builds on this, but goes further: in addition to the ISO requirements, EMAS demands additional transparency, regular external audits and the publication of an environmental statement.

As part of the certification process, Eurowings is publishing its first environmental statement for the years 2022 to 2024. It documents the environmental impact of all German locations and shows how the airline is systematically working towards its ecological goals.

There are plans to extend certification to Eurowings' pan-European locations in the coming year.

The environmental statement is now available on the Eurowings website and will be updated annually with the latest figures to provide a transparent overview of the continuing development of the environmental management system.

New to the flight schedule: Starting on December 13, Eurowings will operate direct flights from Düsseldorf to Dubai three times a week. The flights, operated by an Airbus A320neo, will depart on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in the morning (06:50 a.m. / 08:35 a.m.) towards Dubai World Central (DWC). The return flight from Dubai will depart at 18:05 local time.

For the first time, Eurowings will offer a direct connection from the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia to Dubai. With this new route, Dubai is now directly connected to five German airports with Eurowings.

Direct flight from Stuttgart to Amman

In addition to Dubai and Jeddah, Eurowings will soon be connecting Stuttgart, the state capital of Baden-Württemberg, with another destination in the Middle East: starting on 27 October, Eurowings will be flying to Amman in Jordan up to two times per week. Every Monday and Thursday at 6:15 a.m., a Eurowings Airbus will take off for the Jordanian capital.

More connections for family and home visits 

In addition to the new leisure routes, Eurowings is also expanding its offering for travelers who want to visit family and friends in their home region. Starting on 4 November, Eurowings will fly from Nuremberg to Erbil in Iraq once a week (on Tuesdays), and the connection from Cologne/Bonn once a week on Wednesdays will now also be available in the winter flight schedule. Eurowings will also connect the Lebanese capital Beirut with Hanover (starting on 6 November), Salzburg (as of 28 October) and Prague (from 7 November) once a week in its winter schedule for the first time.

Priority Boarding is only available in combination with a large cabin bag. In the SMART fare, this is already included, so the option can be added at any time, subject to availability. In the BASIC fare, Priority Boarding is available if a large cabin bag has been booked separately.

You can add Priority Boarding during your initial booking via the Eurowings website or app, or at a later stage. Availability is limited and depends on the selected flight. Passengers in BIZclass as well as HON Circle Members or Senators already have this service included in their fare.

A particular highlight is the new signature fragrance “Burgundy Breeze”, developed in collaboration with the renowned Cologne-based fragrance marketing agency Scentcommunication. The composition of sea salt, pink pepper, floral notes such as water lily and a warm base of wood and vetiver creates a fresh, harmonious cabin ambience that brings the ease of the brand to life on board.

Sweet parting gift: mint and fruit sweets in the Eurowings colors
Eurowings is also focusing on an affectionate detail when disembarking: from now on, guests will receive a sweet in the typical corporate colors Burgundy or Sky Blue. With a fruity cassis or refreshing peppermint flavor, this small gesture ensures a sweet farewell moment with an emotional impact.

Relaxation through music: sound branding during boarding and deboarding
Atmospheric background music is part of the Eurowings experience – on every flight, during boarding and deboarding. The sound design was developed specifically for the Eurowings brand and creates a relaxing and calming environment for all passengers. The specially composed pieces of music contain sound effects and sounds that make travelers think of a vacation as soon as they board the plane – for example, the sounds of nature or a plane taking off are mixed into the “Organic Electro” sound.

Starting in November 2025, we will offer three non-stop flights per week from Berlin to Abu Dhabi. Following Dubai and Jeddah, this marks the capital’s third long-haul destination. The return flight from the Azores to Düsseldorf is also on Saturdays (10:10 a.m.). With this, we are making direct flights from NRW to the Azores available again and, with this new route, we are expanding our diverse holiday portfolio with an unusual destination.

Further summer highlights in the 2025 summer flight schedule

From Hanover you can look forward to three new destinations in the summer - two of which are only accessible directly with Eurowings: Lisbon and Erbil. The Portuguese capital will be served three times a week from 6 June, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The northern Iraqi city of Erbil will be served twice a week on Mondays and Fridays as of 31 March. And beginning on 3 May, there will be a weekly flight to Bastia (Corsica). The French island is always served on Saturday afternoons, with a flight time of just under two hours. There is a new destination in the summer flight schedule for travelers from Stuttgart that cannot currently be reached by direct flights: from 31 March, we will be flying to the Irish capital, Dublin, four times a week. The planes will take off on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

From the cathedral city directly to the north of Portugal: as of 1 May, we will be offering a thrice-weekly connection from Cologne to Porto. The flights will take place on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

While our European programme from Berlin is growing strongly, we are adjusting the frequencies within Germany. On average, every tenth flight will be removed from the connections to Düsseldorf, Cologne and Stuttgart. This is due to the sharp increase in state levies and fees, which have made it almost impossible to operate flights within Germany profitably. Nevertheless, we continue to provide a strong link between Berlin and Brandenburg and the major population centres in North Rhine-Westphalia and southern Germany. We fly you from BER up to seven times to Stuttgart, up to six times to Cologne/Bonn and up to five times to Düsseldorf every day.

We are the first airline worldwide to offer an option to purchase sustainable kerosene during the flight: When you purchase the organic smoothie ‘SAFt’ in the Wings Bistro, you can offset the flight-related CO₂ emissions of an average Eurowings route length for 19.50 euros. 10 per cent is reduced by sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and the remaining 90 per cent is offset by contributions to high-quality climate projects with our partners myclimate, Climate Partner and SQUAKE.

“The reduced offer will significantly weaken the direct connection to Hamburg and make flying from the Hanseatic city noticeably more expensive,” says Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof. “This development could have been avoided. But the airport's plans for a completely disproportionate increase in charges leave us no choice. It is very regrettable that no viable solutions have been offered here. The ones who are now suffering are leisure and business travelers from the region.”

In addition, Eurowings is forced to consider further route closures at other German airports in favor of flights to other EU countries in view of the constantly rising infrastructure and location costs for airlines in Germany. This is because the sum of all German and European cost burdens is making flying to and from Germany increasingly expensive and unprofitable on many routes.

Eurowings is the market leader at Hamburg Airport and currently has 16 aircraft based there. With 70 destinations, the Lufthansa subsidiary offers the widest range of direct destinations at the largest airport in northern Germany.

Good news for fans of the desert emirate of Dubai: We are now doubling our frequencies to the metropolis on the Persian Gulf. From 27 October, we will connect Dubai daily with Berlin and, at peak times, up to four times weekly with Stuttgart. Cologne-Bonn will be added as a third departure airport for the first time in winter 2024/25, with three weekly flights from the cathedral city to the south.

A new destination in the 2024/25 winter program is the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, which we will connect with Berlin and Cologne-Bonn three times a week. From Düsseldorf, we are adding weekly connections to the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

For winter fans, we are also offering an extended offer to Northern Europe: from Stuttgart and Hamburg, we are flying to new destinations in Finland and Norway.

Growth also at international Eurowings bases
From the Czech Republic (Prague) you will benefit from additional flights to Alicante in winter 2024, even beyond the summer flight schedule. From Stockholm there are more flights to Berlin and Prague. From Palma de Mallorca there will be even more direct connections to Germany and Austria (Cologne, Dortmund, Berlin, Stuttgart and Salzburg).
